Military Men Love Barbara's Music

SGM Mark B. Duwel presents Barbara George CD to SPC Ty Carter

I welcomed Mark as my new neighbor when we were both students at Goshen Central High School.
This year I was delighted to receive a phone call from Mark letting me know that he would be returning
to New York for an event at which his Army Service Career was going to be honored. Mark returned to
Goshen, but this time he stayed at my mom's B&B. My family eagerly gathered to visit with Mark and
we shared wonderful nostalgic stories, some funny, all moving.... Before Mark left I asked him if he
would kindly take a case of my CDs with him to Afghanistan and share my music with the soldiers. He
graciously agreed and here he is with one very special soldier *SPC Ty Carter, who will be receiving
more recognition for his bravery in combat soon.
